Tessitoura Opera Group present Verdi's wonderful tuneful comedy opera in the unusual and intimate setting of the Medieval Barn. The plot revolves around the thwarted, sometimes farcical, efforts of the fat knight Sir John Falstaff, to seduce two married women to gain access to their husbands' wealth. Gates open from 4.30pm for visitors to bring a picnic to eat before the performance. Drinks will be on sale before the performance and during the interval.
