In order to keep everyone COVID safe:

1. We will ask anyone experiencing COVID symptoms or awaiting results of a COVID test NOT to attend Film Club.

2. We will ask anyone attending Film Club to wear a mask whilst moving around the hall.

3. We will provide hand sanitising facilities in the hall.

4. We will not be using tiered seating for the time being. This is because we will have to limit the number of people involved in setting up and taking down the seating. We also want to limit the number of touch points within the hall. Instead we propose to set out suitably spaced tables and chairs which will enable friends and family to sit together in small groups. The Film Club committee will ensure that tables and chairs are sanitised before and after use.

5. We will take your drinks orders for the start of the film and for the interval on your arrival at the hall. Drinks will be served to your table by members of the Film Club committee.

6. We will ask everyone to leave the hall promptly at the end of the evening. The Film Club committee will be responsible for cleaning and putting away the equipment.

7. Initially, because of the limited number of new films available, the Film Club committee will chose films for October, November and December. We will let everyone know the film we will be showing by email. This will be reviewed at the end of the year and, if possible, we will provide a list of films for voting for January, February and March.

We recognise that these, hopefully temporary, changes will alter the usual Film Club "experience" and as a result we are reducing our membership fees for the 2021/22 season to £15 per member. We will not be asking for advance membership fees this season. Payment can be made on your return to Film Club. If, having paid membership, you are unable to attend due to COVID (illness or self-isolating) we will refund that month's fees.
